EXIT                 The Tony Hillier Collection                   EXIT

In 1988 Dr. Tony Hillier put out a request for local pictures with which to decorate the
Blisworth Surgery.  He received a good response with about 110 pictures.  George Freeston
created the graphic arrangement shown here in the first slide and it adorns the waiting room
wall still.  The others have been selected as follows.  Thirty are missing from the collection
and were probably returned.  This PDF is a copy of the collection record indicating dates of accession and names of those making the donations.  A pink highlight indicates which pictures were missing.  Another 30 are pictures that are displayed already on this site and so are not included here.  There are also some unique pictures of canal boats, taken by Jim Payler, and these are placed with his other albums (exit from here and select).

All of the remainder are shown below.

Each picture has a short caption with basic information and the names of people if we know
them.  Some browsers may cut off the caption and you will need to operate the scroll bar at
the side to read it - and again to return to the forward/reverse buttons.  Start where you like.
