36-30   The teacher is headmaster Mr Bailey (Sept 1928 to 1934) - this is the closest dating possible at present.

36-31   Dated from the background at 1928.

36-32   Identification has proved difficult in this picture.  The teacher on the right is Mr Cole (nickname Coley or Boss Cole) who was headmaster from 1934 to 1958.  However he also served as acting head, while Mr Green was ill, for eight months in 1928 and this is the probable date of the picture.  By comparing backgrounds, the same date has been assigned to picture 36-28 above.

36-23  Nor, usually, any shortage of mum or dads to join in a parents race.  Mother's Race, 1963.
36-24   This and the next images are some pictures of races.  Wheel-barrow, 1960.
36-25  Free-styles?  1963.

36-38   One of Mrs Hockaday's classes, date c. 1895.  The gentleman in front of Mrs Hockaday is probably her husband, head-teacher at the main school in the Stoke Road.   Although Mrs. Hockaday taught at the junior school opposite the main school, the picture appears to have been taken outside the front of the Westley House (see picture 02-06) which was semi-detached to the main  school.  The house was used by the Blisworth Bacon Company after about 1925.
