Cliff Hill Farm   Known in the village as probably 16th century, in parts, it has been been extensively modified over the years.  It was occupied by the Wesley family of farmers c. 1760 to 1830, a rather remote branch of the Westley family.  Cliff Hill is one of the sites of a small patch of church land (which was probably bequeathed by the Wakes) assigned to support lights in the church.  At the time of the inclosure, the various patches were commutated into 9 acres on Cliff Hill and a small patch along the Towcester Road.  Owing to its heritage, the Cliff Hill field presently hosts our playing field and some of our garden allotments.
