Management of the rural planning of South Northants and Daventry are expected to merge and, in around February 2009, a meeting will sort out how to create a uniform strategy for the two regions.  South Northants has used confines boundaries as a criterion for 'regulating' development in rural villages and Daventry have employed other means.  Either the confines we are accustomed to in Blisworth will be abandoned or they will be converted into a less hard-and-fast border which may be repositioned as the pressure for more land for housing is considered to be so intense.
