Car Parking at the School This has been addressed by the NCC by having double yellow lines controlling parking both on the bend of Courteenhall Road and opposite the entrance to Ladyfield. HGVs It has been explained by letter that to manage a restriction on the weight of HGVs through the village would not be practicable. Stoke Road Structural Any possible subsidence of the Stoke Road, near the canal, due to HGV use is being regularly monitored using surveyor's equipment. Readers are invited to comment by email to Alan. Current reaction is that a weight limit for HGVs is desirable and the explanation given seems a little insubstantial. |
